Overview
In this role you lead and support Technical Safety activities across Refinery, Petrochemical, Pharma, and related projects from the Corsico (Milan) office. You will chair HAZID/HAZOP workshops, coordinate THSE matters, and liaise with clients to ensure robust safety design and risk management. The position blends hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration, offering exposure to major international projects and development paths in safety leadership. This is a hybrid role with travel and opportunities to shape safety standards on a global scale.

Responsabilità
- Lead/participate in HAZOPs and HAZID workshops and safety reviews at Client premises
- Coordinate Technical Safety aspects across Basic/FEED/EPC contracts under the Technical Safety Department Manager
- Support project HSE compliance in the design phase and enhance technical HSE performance
- Interface with external safety consultants for permitting and specialized studies
- Contribute to risk assessment, loss prevention, and safety distance/ergonomics considerations in engineering design
- Act as Focal Point coordinator for THSE aspects in Wood projects
- Guide development of THSE and strengthen experience through project involvement
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience chairing HAZID/HAZOP workshops; SIL allocation and LOPA studies
- HSE aspects in engineering design (safety distances, ergonomics, fire & gas)
- Knowledge of CE marking according to European Safety Directives
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Eligibility to work in Italy
- Availability for business trips
- TUV (or equivalent) Functional Safety certification is a plus
