Overview
As a Senior Project Engineer at Wood, you coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines to deliver complex plant projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. You will lead project engineers in Milan and globally, interface with the client, and ensure technical rigor throughout FEED/EPC phases. The role blends office and field work, with international mobility and hybrid work options. You join a global team focused on safe, predictable outcomes and sustainable energy delivery.

Responsabilità
- Coordinate engineering disciplines (process, piping, civil, electrical, instrumentation) and monitor deliverables against the project schedule
- Supervise and mentor project engineers in Milan and the Global Execution Center (India)
- Interface with client for technical matters and participate in technical project reviews
- Prepare and coordinate key documents (P&IDs, line and equipment lists, MRs) and issue technical notes and action tracking
- Support HSE, procurement, subcontracting, project control, construction and estimating teams depending on project type (FEED vs EPC)
- Provide potential construction-site support as Senior Field Project Engineer and assist on erection implications
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in mechanical, chemical or energy engineering
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated with proactive mindset and strong communication
- Ability to coordinate medium/large engineering teams across disciplines
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Willingness to relocate abroad
