Overview
As a Project Control Lead in Wood's Projects Team, you will coordinate a multidisciplinary planning and cost-control group for EPC projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. You will ensure consistent analysis and reporting across the project control team while engaging with international clients and assignments. The role emphasizes accurate cost/plan forecasting, risk assessment, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. This is a globally oriented position with hybrid work options and opportunities for international mobility, offering meaningful projects and professional growth.

Responsabilità
- Lead the project control team of planning and cost control engineers to ensure consistent analysis and reporting
- Act as focal point with clients/contractors to ensure accurate cost and progress reporting
- Monitor progress against milestones and forecast performance relative to plan
- Develop and maintain WBS and CBS, and implement cost/planning control structures
- Manage cost and schedule risk analysis workshops with internal teams and clients
- Ensure compliance with project controls processes and procedures
- Oversee accuracy and timeliness of S-curves, histograms, and P6-based project schedules
- Provide analysis of current and future resource needs to the Project Manager
- Coordinate communication interfaces for cost, planning, risk deliverables and services
- Ensure timely control and forecasting of budgets using earned value management principles
- Accountable for delivering and maintaining project control outputs and reports
- Lead change impact assessment related to budgets and schedules
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master Degree in Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Experience in the role (at least two EPC projects spent as Project Control leader)
- Oracle P6 and Project Risk analysis ability
- Self-motivation, proactive outlook and good communication skills
- Availability to travel and assignments abroad
- Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows from basic design to construction
- Fluent in Italian and English
