Overview

In this role you will oversee safety, quality, reliability, and performance of manufacturing operations as the top authority within Operations. You will drive governance of fabrication and production, ensuring capacity, staffing, and equipment meet project demand. You will lead and develop the Operations leadership team and manage risk, continuous improvement, and regulatory interfaces with regulators, customers, and executives. This position offers a chance to shape nuclear operations at scale in a safety‑driven, high‑integrity environment. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners to strengthen safety culture and operational excellence across the organization.

Responsabilità

  • Ensure Nuclear Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance across all operational activities
  • Provide Overall Governance of Operations: oversee fabrication and production ensuring proper staffing, qualification, and equipment
  • Manage Operational Performance and Delivery to meet production commitments
  • Govern Capacity, Resources, and Capability translating demand into workforce, equipment, and space requirements
  • Lead and Develop the Operations Leadership Team aligned with nuclear safety principles and accountability
  • Govern Special Processes (welding, NDE, RT) with appropriate technical independence
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence with compliant, documented programs
  • Interface with Executive Management, Customers, and Regulators as primary operations liaison
  • Manage Operational Risk and Resilience including planning, contingency, and response to incidents

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing/operations
  • At least 5 years leading managers or multi-level operational teams in a regulated industrial environment
  • Experience in nuclear, power generation, aerospace, oil & gas, or similar high integrity sectors preferred
