Overview
In this role you drive procurement for equipment supporting a manufacturing site and contribute to AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain. You will guide procurement activities from pre-PO through PO execution and support project management during PO execution, negotiating terms to meet financial, quality, and delivery needs. You will lead supplier relationships and implement commodity strategies to optimize costs, risk, and supply continuity. This position blends strategy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain critical construction programs.

Responsabilità
- Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers
- Lead decision-making and strategy implementation for component and equipment procurement
- Lead regular supplier relationship management reviews with key and strategic suppliers
- Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply
- Identify and obtain cost improvements for purchased materials and services
- Obtain training and knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and personal growth
- Coordinate, maintain and expedite material deliveries to meet manufacturing schedules
- Interface between project teams (PM and engineering) and the supply chain organization
- Maintain a comprehensive commodity strategy to improve total cost of ownership and ensure supply continuity by mitigating risks and seizing opportunities
- Prepare and deliver materials for leadership and supplier reviews, risk mitigation plans, assessments, and gap analyses
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree and Supply Chain experience
- 10+ years of relevant project procurement experience (preferably in complex engineering/construction contexts)
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- In-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic skills and understanding of APX Supply Chain Products
- Ability to travel up to 15% within EMEA
- Fluent in Italian and C1 proficiency in English
