Overview
As Senior Accountant in the EMEA Finance team (Milan), you secure accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements in a dynamic, international setting. You will collaborate with local, central, and shared service teams to support month-end, statutory reporting, VAT and Intrastat duties, and audits. Your work underpins internal controls and data accuracy across the region. This role offers exposure to global finance processes and a chance to contribute to VF’s sustainability-driven mission.

Responsabilità
- Manage and review monthly financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors and external consultants
- Manage VAT returns (monthly and annual) and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Prepare Intrastat declarations and support tax calculations
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and monitor tax deadlines
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting activities
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of Italian and US GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes)
- Solid experience in financial reporting and audit processes
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
