Overview
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Vertiv, you will design, develop, and maintain software for diagnosing and monitoring complex power-electronic systems. You will collaborate within an international firmware team to deliver robust applications and precise technical specifications. You’ll install software at customer sites and provide hands-on support to resolve issues, contributing to scalable, secure embedded solutions. This role offers meaningful impact in a mission-driven company focused on powering the future with reliable, connected products.
Responsabilità
- Design, implement and support complex software applications and related documentation
- Work within an international firmware team
- Create functional, architecture and design specifications
- Install software at customer sites with prototype units
- Provide customer support and issue resolution visits
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Strong OO design and development capability
- Experience with QT and QT libraries
- Frontend technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML
- Basic knowledge of security aspects of embedded software
- Scripting skills: Python, JSON, bash
- Excellent multitask and network programming skills
- Professional Linux Embedded/Desktop development including build, debug and scripting tools
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Understanding of OS concepts: processes, memory management, file systems
- GNU Make/Makefile expertise
- Basic virtualization knowledge (qemu/VMware/VirtualBox/Docker)
- Fluent English
- 3+ years of experience
