Overview
In this role you design, develop, and test electrical systems and electronic boards to support Vertiv’s infrastructure solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams from concept to implementation, ensuring compliance and reliability across projects. You’ll analyze, validate, and troubleshoot designs, while maintaining thorough documentation and contributing to continuous improvement. This position offers hands‑on impact in a global company focused on mission‑critical technology.
Responsabilità
- Design and develop electronic boards and electrical systems.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, drawings, and engineering reports.
- Develop and lay out schematics using Siemens Xpedition EDM; manage PCB layout with external collaborators.
- Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and technical analyses.
- Review designs for standards, safety, and project requirements.
- Support testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, or operation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders.
- Select components and materials based on technical and project needs.
- Support risk assessments, product improvements, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure document control.
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems, and components
- Experience in electrical design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Familiarity with electrical simulation, design, or calculation tools
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition EDM PCB design software
- Understanding of power distribution, control systems, circuits
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
- Teamwork and ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers
- Good communication and project coordination skills
