Overview
In this role you design, analyze and troubleshoot embedded firmware for hardware systems, supporting product life cycles from specification to testing. You will collaborate with the firmware and tech-support teams to resolve field issues and document technical details. Your work helps ensure reliable firmware performance and customer satisfaction in complex power/electronics environments. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping firmware for products used in critical applications.
Responsabilità
- Design, analyze and troubleshoot firmware for allocated functions
- Provide firmware test specifications and support product life cycle
- Collaborate with tech-support to resolve field issues
- Define product specifications in coordination with other engineering functions
- Support test planning and review results
- Produce technical documentation including drawings and component specifications
- Translate hardware and embedded system diagrams into validated firmware behavior
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong knowledge of C/C++
- Experience with version control systems
- DSP architecture knowledge, TI-oriented preferred
- University degree or technical diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in related areas (UPS, power converters, or low voltage distribution) is a plus
- Good PLM knowledge and processes
- Strong teamwork and communication
- Customer-oriented with willingness to travel
