What’s ‘in-Store’?
This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their legal career who is keen to develop broad commercial legal experience within a global business. Working closely with the European Director of Legal and experienced colleagues across Europe, you’ll support a variety of legal and commercial activities, helping business teams navigate contractual, compliance, and operational matters.
You’ll gain hands-on exposure to:
- Commercial contracts and customer agreements
- Tender and RFP processes
- Contract management and governance
- Data privacy and regulatory compliance
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Services, and Legal teams
Your Role
As Legal Counsel, you will provide practical day-to-day legal support to teams across Europe, helping ensure contracts and business activities are managed effectively and in line with company policies. You’ll assist with reviewing agreements, identifying potential risks, supporting compliance initiatives, and contributing to successful commercial outcomes.
Along the way, you’ll develop your understanding of how legal advice supports business growth within a fast-paced technology organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contracts
- Review, draft, and support the negotiation of customer, supplier, and partner agreements.
- Assist sales and services teams with contractual queries and commercial matters.
- Support the preparation and amendment of standard contract templates.
- Help identify legal and commercial risks and escalate matters when appropriate.
- Work with Legal colleagues across Europe on more complex contractual matters.
RFP and Tender Support
- Support responses to customer RFPs, RFIs, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate information from internal stakeholders to help prepare high-quality responses.
- Maintain and update standard legal and compliance responses used in tender processes.
- Assist with contract reviews associated with new business opportunities.
Compliance and Legal Operations
- Support contract management and governance processes.
- Help ensure contracts follow internal approval and documentation requirements.
- Assist with compliance activities relating to areas such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of legal processes, templates, and knowledge resources.

Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer or legal professional with some experience in commercial law, either in private practice or an in-house environment.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, or supporting the negotiation of commercial agreements would be advantageous.
- Interest in developing a career in commercial and technology law within an international business.
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Law.
Languages
- Fluent English and Italian are essential.
- Spanish language skills to a professional level are desired due to regular interaction with stakeholders across Italy and Spain.
