We are looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist to join our Marketing team in Milan and play a key strategic role in data interpretation and advanced analytics.
This role will work at the intersection of Marketing, Tech and UX, with the mission to ensure data accuracy, unlock actionable insights, and support data-driven decision making across channels, brand partners.
As a key analytical partner, you will manage tracking systems, improve the quality of data flows, and collaborate on advanced analysis, modeling, and visualization to optimize marketing performance and strategic outcomes. You will also translate on-site user behavior data into concrete hypotheses on user experience, partnering with the UX/Product team to prioritize improvements to our digital touchpoints.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of all collected data, and guarantee they’re correctly implemented and visualized across platforms (GA4, dashboards, BI tools) and ready for reporting needs.
- Configure and maintain custom GA4 reports to analyze website performance and user interactions (e.g., scrolls, videos, wish lists, product rankings) and extract strategic insights.
- Analyze on-site behavioral data — funnel drop-offs, rage clicks, scroll depth, session recordings and heatmaps to identify friction points across the user journey, and translate findings into clear, actionable UI/UX recommendations for the Product/UX team.
- Build and maintain customer journey maps across key touchpoints, highlighting drop-off and conversion points to help prioritize experimentation and optimization efforts.
- Partner with Brand Marketing and Channels teams to set up advanced analysis frameworks and test alternative attribution models.
- Collaborate with Tech team to develop and manage customized dashboards, integrating GA4 events and performance metrics, to deliver deep insights into user journeys and conversion funnels.
- Research, propose, and contribute to the implementation of predictive models, including customer segmentation and behaviours, using machine learning and statistical algorithms.
- Monitor tracking anomalies on GA4, escalate technical issues to the Tech team, and support their resolution.
- Encourage data literacy through regular training sessions and process documentation/standardization.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing, e-commerce, or digital environment.
- Educational background in Data Science, Economics, Data analysis, or related fields.
- Strong command of GA4 and digital analytics tools; experience with BigQuery and Google Tag Manager is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of marketing performance metrics, attribution models, and user behavior analytics.
- Hands-on experience with behavioral analytics / session-recording tools, and the ability to read quantitative and qualitative signals together to form UX hypotheses.
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with predictive modeling, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques is highly valued.
- A collaborative, curious approach to UX and CRO comfortable partnering with Product/UX and Design teams to turn data into design recommendations, without needing to be a UX designer.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
What we offer:
- Compensation package within a range of 30.000-35.000€, depending on experience and overall fit with the role requirements.
- Benefits: monthly lunch tickets, company laptop, discounts on our owned brands and brand partners, plus additional local perks and offers.
- Learning & Development: continuous learning opportunities through TLG University and other internal development programs.
- Workplace & People: join our young (31yo on average), international (30+ nationalities) team and grow in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-moving environment.
At The Level Group, we believe diverse perspectives and experiences make stronger teams. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, nationalities, identities, and abilities. If you require any accommodation during the interview process, please let us know and we will be happy to support you.
