Overview
In this role you contribute to avionics and spacecraft test and validation activities within a multinational space company. You will work on hardware-in-the-loop testing, avionics requirements, and simulation tools to ensure robust space systems. The position supports cross-functional collaboration across laboratories and international teams, contributing to mission-critical electronics and software environments. Responsabilità
- Support hardware-in-the-loop testing environments and spacecraft simulator development
- Work with avionic sensors/actuators and onboard computer interfaces
- Implement and verify software in Matlab/Simulink and C/C++ for real-time or HW/SW hybrids
- Coordinate with labs and teams to assess avionic requirements and testing procedures
- Apply ECSS/ECSS-like standards and PUS concepts to telemetry and telecommand data
- Use configuration and V&V tools (e.g., DOORS, GIT) for traceability and validation
- Work in an international environment and manage workload under constraints
- Maintain knowledge of space avionics standards and related hardware interfaces
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master in Electrical/Computer/Control Engineering
- Fluent in English (C1)
- 5+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of kinematics/dynamics of rigid bodies
- Avionic sensors/actuators technology
- Real-time or non-real-time hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Matlab/Simulink programming
- C/C++ programming
- Familiarity with 1553/CAN bus (AIM 1553 and KVASER or equivalent)
- Understanding of ESA ECSS/telemetry and telecommand standards (at least two listed)
- Data Handling hardware concepts (OBC, RTU, GNSS, microprocessors)
- Knowledge of TOOLS: DOORS, GIT
