Overview
As a Software Engineer Mobile - Android, you shape innovative Android apps for a broad range of devices and connect them with backend services and embedded systems. You will design, implement, test, and support wellness-focused experiences that help people improve their lifestyles. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and ensure robust, high-performance apps. This role offers meaningful impact in a globally used platform and an agile, fast-paced environment.
Responsabilità
- Design and build advanced Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features
- Integrate with external data sources and APIs for seamless experiences
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency
- Fix bugs and optimize app performance
- Unit-test code for robustness and reliability
Requisiti fondamentali
- MSc or PhD in Engineering (or similar)
- Experience with Android architecture
- Solid understanding of clean software design principles
- Contributions to GitHub or open source projects
- Experience with TDD
- Experience with Dagger or Dependency Injection
- Experience with Kotlin coroutines on Android
- Ability to make remote server calls (REST, SOAP)
- Experience with JSON serialization/deserialization
- Strong Kotlin knowledge (+3 years is a plus)
- Kanban/Agile build environment
- Drive, time-management, and remote-working capability
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of cyber risk, information security & cyber security topics
- Passion for fitness and wellness
- Proactive and collaborative problem solver
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
