YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Web Application Developer – ST e Design Suite (Intern) to join our Thermal‑Electrical Simulators team, which develops advanced web tools that help users select the most suitable ST devices for their applications and accurately evaluate their electrical and thermal behavior.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include
- Develop front-end features using modern frameworks (primarily React and/or Angular) to provide intuitive, responsive and data‑driven user interfaces for simulation setup, execution and result visualization.
- Contribute to back‑end services, helping to design, implement and maintain APIs and microservices that orchestrate simulation flows, manage data and integrate with existing e Design Suite components.
- Collaborate with simulation and domain experts (thermal/electrical engineers) to translate technical requirements into user‑friendly web tools and assist in refining UI/UX based on feedback.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: requirements discussion, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation and deployment support.
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code, following ST’s coding standards, version control practices and CI/CD guidelines.
- Investigate and prototype new solutions, exploring improvements in performance, usability and robustness of the simulation web applications.
You are not expected to be an expert in all these areas at the start, but you should be curious, proactive and motivated to grow as a full stack developer within the e Design Suite Thermal‑Electrical Simulators team.
- YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- Web fundamentals: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and modern Java Script / Type Script.
- Front‑end frameworks: Academic or project experience with at least one modern framework, preferably React and/or Angular (components, routing, state management, services).;
- Back‑end development: Basic knowledge of building RESTful APIs and understanding of client–server architectures.
- Software engineering practices: Interest in clean code, modular design, basic automated testing and debugging techniques.
- Problem‑solving mindset: Ability to analyze technical requirements, propose solutions and learn new technologies when needed.
- Teamwork & communication: Comfortable working in an international, cross‑functional team and communicating with developers, engineers and stakeholders.
- English business proficiency

- Exposure to numerical simulation, data visualization or scientific/engineering applications
- Basic understanding of electronics, power devices, or thermal‑electrical concepts
- Experience with CI/CD tools or cloud‑based deployments
- AI skills: interest in and basic understanding of modern AI systems, especially generative AI and LLM‑based applications; familiarity with effective prompting strategies and with the fundamentals of agentic design, including how to define instructions, structure simple agents and skills, and use AI tools critically and effectively.
