SSAB’s fossil-free technology is the first true steelmaking transformation for centuries! Our customers around the world get premium high-strength steel, adapted to the future. Our Special Steels Sales division in Ghedi (Brescia), Italy - is expanding and we are looking for a new Indoor Sales Person. Please come and be a part of our journey and our team!
As an Indoor Sales person in our Special Steels Sales department in Ghedi you will work closely to the Regional Sales Managers and our customers in Italy. On site we have our stock and service office with around 50 employees, of which the Special Steels Sales team is around 6 persons.
You will work together with the RSMs, with tasks such as handling orders, bookings, sending offers, follow-ups and additional sales. You will have an important role in terms of being our costumers’ first contact. We want to make sure we provide the best service - although this isn’t a passive customer care role - we are looking for someone who sees the bigger picture.
Main Responsibilities
- Register plates arriving Naantali stock into system
- Handle purchase orders of stock plates
- Marketing support
- Open new accounts
- Register claims into system
- Replying delivery related customer inquiries
- You have some kind of sales background from education/experience or both
- You are motivated and see opportunities
- You are service minded and communicative, not afraid to answer the phone
- You are a team player
- Italian and English language skills are required
- Preferably you have some SAP knowledge

About The Team
SSAB Special Steels has global responsibility for sales of SSAB’s quenched and tempered (Q&T) steels and advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) as well as for steel and plate production in Oxelösund, Sweden, and Mobile, USA.
