Overview
In this role you lead technical and commercial activities for spare parts and modernization solutions for rolling mills, driving after-sales success in an international setting. You will collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotations, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with contractual milestones. Your engineering background and ERP/SAP experience will underpin package optimization and excellent customer service. This position offers a chance to shape service solutions for long/new products at a global scale.
Responsabilità
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and upgrading/modernization solutions for long product rolling mills / flat product rolling (hot/cold)
- Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer technical documentation and internal engineering support
- Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply in collaboration with product-specific technical departments
- Evaluate costs in cooperation with purchasing, costing, and supplier management teams
- Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations
- Oversee and coordinate order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy
- Collect and analyze project information, aligning after-sales activities with contractual milestones
- Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders within ERP systems
- Provide excellent customer service, handling technical inquiries and support needs
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (preferred specializations: Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications)
- Previous experience in technical-commercial back office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Availability for national and international business travel

- Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP R/3 ERP systems
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus
