Overview

As Mechanical Supervisor, you ensure correct erection of mechanical parts and equipment to meet contractual timelines and technical requirements. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate with engineering, and verify alignment, planning, and completion documentation. You’ll support trials and commissioning, liaise with customers and authorities, and report on daily progress. This role sits in the Center of Excellence Implementation, enabling turnkey plant projects and continuous improvement.

Responsabilità

  • Supervise installation of mechanical parts and equipment
  • Check alignment and movement of equipment
  • Verify erection work complies with time schedule, design and technical requirements
  • Review resource planning of the erection company
  • Interface with engineering to resolve execution issues
  • Review and sign erection completion documents
  • Manage vendors and contractors
  • Attend customer progress meetings and manage client/local authority relations
  • Coordinate with Head Quarter and sub-contractors
  • Prepare daily activity status reports
  • Provide technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Leadership to coordinate, manage and control mechanical/piping erection activities in industrial plants
  • 3/5 years of professional experience in construction of steel processing plants
  • Knowledge in site erection and commissioning management (preferred for steel plants)
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
