Overview
As a Regional Service Representative for MV, you on-site commission and diagnose Schneider Electric medium-voltage switchgear, delivering expert support on complex projects. You work closely with other service engineers and partners, documenting results and training customers on basic operations. This role combines hands-on technical work with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will travel internationally to install, commission, and optimize MV equipment, shaping reliable power systems for diverse clients.
Responsabilità
- Perform Startup & Commissioning on MV equipment across product ranges
- Evaluate installation and operational conditions of equipment and systems
- Conduct onsite adjustments to optimize running conditions
- Perform root cause analysis to distinguish quality, software, or operational issues
- Collaborate with Schneider Electric service engineers or partners during interventions
- Document test results and produce site work reports
- Train customers on basic operations of the equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for MV products
Requisiti fondamentali
- Solid understanding of electrical principles for medium voltage; fundamentals of automation and protection relays
- Ability to work with general direction and follow safety policies
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting procedures and regulations; capable of writing reports
- Strong problem-definition, data collection, and analysis abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% of time
- Electrotechnical education (university degree an advantage)
- At least 5 years’ experience with commissioning and/or field service activities
- Confirmed experience with MV power distribution products (Schneider Electric or other brands)
- Knowledge of protection relays is a strong advantage
- Ability to work autonomously, analyze technical challenges and propose solutions
- Excellent mechanical and electrical hands-on skills
- Fluent English (B2+ level minimum)
- Software skills: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power system CX software
