Overview
As Senior Product Manager - Payments, you own Consumer Payments in the Features & Payment domain, spanning cards, SEPA transfers, and QR payments, driving adoption and reliability at scale. You’ll shape problems with user and data signals, lead strategy from concept to launch, and ensure a seamless UX for a growing user base. You’ll collaborate across regulatory, finance, and engineering to deliver compliant, customer-centric payment experiences. Responsabilità
- Identify and validate payment problems using user evidence, data, and regulatory signals
- Lead strategy and execution for new payment products from concept to launch
- Scale live products by expanding coverage, adoption and reliability
- Own the consumer-facing UX and ensure payments are intuitive and seamless
- Define product requirements and maintain a user-centered perspective
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Fraud, Marketing, Finance to align on vision and regulatory needs
- Manage external partnerships with card schemes and payment providers to drive roadmap and value
- Analyze usage and performance data to optimize features and identify opportunities
- Advocate for thorough documentation and efficient workflows to ensure delivery
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years as a Product Manager with at least 3 years in payments, banking, or fintech
- Proven track record delivering products from scratch and scaling them
- Deep experience with at least one payment rail (card issuing, SEPA transfers, or account-to-account) and understanding of authorization, settlement, scheme flows, disputes
- Strong grasp of payment economics and ability to build business cases using performance data
- Ability to design experiences within PSD2, SCA, AML constraints and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Fraud teams
- Strong stakeholder management with senior cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, BI, Finance, Compliance)
- Professional fluency in English
- Italian proficiency not required
