Overview
As a Quality Specialist, you will support development, production, and continuous improvement of SASIB’s automatic packaging machines. You will drive quality across products and processes to sustain operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You’ll lead root cause analyses and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams, while shaping quality documentation and risk assessments. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to influence product reliability and efficiency in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Responsabilità
- Monitor and analyze internal quality KPIs (defect rates, rework, scrap, deviations) and drive improvement actions to meet targets
- Lead root cause analysis for non-conformities using structured tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) and coordinate CAPA with Production, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain
- Support product and process development activities, contributing to design reviews, FMEA, and risk assessments to minimize residual risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes comply with Quality System standards and procedures
- Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, reports)
- Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and manufacturability
- Act as a reference on quality issues on the production floor, promoting a culture of quality and improvement
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in industrial automation
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical drawing, production processes and machining in medium-high complexity contexts
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP ERP and BO/BI is a plus
- Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken
