Overview
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce’s strategic customers. You will work closely with a Deployment Strategist to shape architecture, productionize AI systems, and set engineering standards. You’ll influence product direction by surfacing field insights and pilot new AI tools, while mentoring peers and maintaining high-quality code. This role blends hands-on implementation with strategic impact in an enterprise AI context.
Responsabilità
- Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions from architecture decisions to production handoff
- Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform (agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails)
- Manage data lifecycle for AI apps across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks
- Resolve technical blockers in data integration, deployment, or orchestration
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting
- Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs with pragmatic decision-making
- Codify learnings into reusable playbooks and assets for the org
- Mentor engineers via code reviews and paired sessions
- Provide technical depth on critical deployments and surface field insights to Product and Engineering
- Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate client challenges into deployable AI solutions
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Communicate clearly with engineers, customer architects, and executives
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in at least one language among Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Experience integrating LLMs into production and familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics across platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs
- Entrepreneurial, results-focused mindset with ability to balance speed and quality
- Mentored technical talent and created reusable assets or playbooks
- Excellent communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executives
- Willingness to travel and work in Italian and English at business level
- Curiosity about evolving AI/data landscape and willingness to pilot new tools
