We are looking for a Scientific Officer to work in the Front-Desk and Worforce Planning Unit.

Responsabilità
The interim will:
- Assist applicants in preparing applications for food and feed products requiring EFSA evaluation;
- Provide technical and administrative support to applicants throughout the submission and evaluation process;
- Contribute to the preparation, drafting, and updating of guidance documents for applicants;
- Manage and address technical inquiries received from external stakeholders through various communication channels;
- Liaise with internal scientific teams and external parties to ensure clear and timely responses to queries.
Functie-eisen
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level);
- Knowledge of regulated products application workflows, novel foods and feed additives;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Behavioural competencies: attention to detail, teamwork, focus on stakeholder needs, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work with ambiguity.
Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment: 12 months.
Salary: approx. 3813,00 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.
Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
