Dumarey Softronix is seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to support the development of safety-critical automotive systems. This role is essential to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 across the full V-development cycle, from concept to validation, with a strong focus on safety analysis, requirement definition, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you’ll do
Depending on the assigned projects and related development phases, the candidate will be required to lead the following activities:
- Safety Plan preparation and update
- Development Interface Agreement (DIA) definition
- Identification and Evaluation of SOTIF hazards and triggering events
- Item definition, Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment (HARA) execution
- Functional Safety Concept (FSC) definition
- Technical Safety Concept (TSC) definition
- Impact analysis at system, hardware and software levels
- Execution of Safety analysis at system, hardware and software levels as required:
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA)
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Failure Mode Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA)
- Safety and SOTIF verification and validation strategy definition
- Safety test plan: Test case development, execution & report
- Confirmation Measures and verification reviews of safety work products
- Tool confidence and qualification need definition
- Production level safety inputs to Service, commissioning & de-commissioning requirements.
What we are looking for
- Degree-level education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools.
- Exposure to automotive communication protocols and vehicle domains would be preferred.
- Consolidated experience (at least 3 years) in System engineering and/or Functional Safety in Automotive sector, as well as Electronic HW design and SW design and development basic skills would be preferred.
