Director of Operations,
responsible for driving strategic initiatives and overseeing various operational functions, including planning, production, customer service, logistics, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
Developing and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Lead teams to ensure consistent and scalable operations processes, procedures, and standards in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans approved by executive management.
Oversee and drive initiatives for improving areas of operations such as planning, production, customer service, and logistics.
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Develop and maintain consistent and scalable operations processes, procedures, and standards.
Mentor and develop talent within the operations team.
Conduct monthly operations reviews to assess program and production performance against objectives.
Support business development initiatives and assist in managing operational budgets.
Provide guidance and direction to the Program Management Office on production operations-related issues.
Align operations initiatives with the company’s mission, vision, and growth objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
13+ years of relevant experience, with at least 6+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing, production, and logistics processes.
Experience in Airworthiness and EASA part 23 requirements.
Knowledge of production/manufacturing principles, techniques, and warehousing best practices.
Experience with materials management systems.
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
Excellent customer-facing experience.
Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career
