Overview
Join the Pirelli Modelling team to advance virtual tyre design through tools development. You will work with global technical centers to harmonize simulation tools and methodologies, focusing on automation and efficient use of resources. You’ll build and maintain modelling tools, fix issues, and create documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsabilità
- Develop software tools for automation and industrialization of simulations
- Support users with simulation issues (bugs, HPC, convergence)
- Collect and implement user feedback on tools
- Bug fixing and ongoing tool maintenance
- Create release notes and user guides
- Collaborate with other departments (testing, materials, processes) as needed
Requisiti fondamentali
- 2+ years of experience
- Programming experience, preferably in Python
- Experience with Finite Element simulations (implicit/explicit, Abaqus) in tire applications
- Non-relational database experience (MongoDB)
- Linux proficiency (files management, shell)
- Version control experience (Git, Gitlab)
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Innovative and flexible problem-solving
