Junior Operations & Commercial Administrator

Junior Operations & Commercial Administrator

Full-Time Smart working non possibile
Oversonic

You are probably the person everyone comes to when something needs to get done.

You notice what is missing.

You know who needs to be called.

You see an unanswered email and take care of it.

You hear a conversation and immediately understand what needs to happen next.

And when things get messy, you don’t wait for someone to organize them.

You organize them.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Join a robotics startup where you will be close to the action

Oversonic Robotics is building humanoid robots for real industrial environments.

We are growing our Sales organization and looking for a ambitious and fearless person to join us as a Junior Sales Operations & Commercial Administrator.

This is a junior role, but it is not a passive one.

You will work very closely with the people driving our commercial business and become deeply involved in the day-to-day reality of customers, opportunities, offers, contracts and deals.

You will see things that most junior people in large companies don’t see for years.

You will learn how a commercial organization actually works.

And you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility as quickly as you are ready for it.

You don’t need to know robotics

You don’t need years of experience.

You don’t need to be an engineer.

You don’t need to understand humanoid robots.

We can teach you the product.

What we are looking for is much harder to teach:

  • Curiosity.
  • Sharpness.
  • Confidence.
  • Initiative.

And the instinct to make things happen.

What will you actually do?

You will become one of the key people keeping our Sales organization moving.

You will:

  • Manage incoming emails and calls, quickly understanding what matters, what you can handle yourself and what needs to be escalated.
  • Communicate with customers and partners on commercial and administrative topics.
  • Prepare, send and track NDAs, offers, contracts and other commercial documents.
  • Support the preparation of invoices and billing documentation.
  • Keep customer information and commercial files accurate and organized.
  • Track open actions, missing information, signatures, approvals and deadlines.
  • Coordinate information between Sales, Management, Engineering, Finance and Operations.
  • Prepare meetings, documents and information so the Sales team can focus on customers and opportunities.
  • Follow up when something is missing instead of waiting for someone else to notice.
  • Spot gaps in the commercial process and help fix them.

You will quickly become the person who knows:

What is happening.

What is missing.

Who is waiting.

What needs to happen next.

We are looking for judgment, not just organization

Anyone can maintain a spreadsheet.

This role requires more.

We want someone who can look at a situation and think:

“I can solve this.”

Someone who is comfortable picking up the phone.

Someone who isn’t intimidated by senior people.

Someone who can politely chase a colleague for something important.

Someone who can speak professionally with a customer.

Someone who knows when to act independently and when to ask for help.

Someone who can handle ten moving parts without becoming the eleventh problem.

You don’t need to know everything. You need to know how to move things forward.

You will have real responsibility

You will work closely with the people responsible for our commercial organization.

That means your work will be visible.

You will be trusted with sensitive information, important customers, commercial documents and things that need to happen quickly.

You will have the freedom to make decisions within your area and keep things moving without asking for permission every five minutes.

We expect you to use your judgment.

And we expect you to learn fast.

If you see something that can be improved, say it.

If something is broken, help fix it.

If you don’t know the answer, find it.

If you make a mistake, own it and learn from it.

Who might be a great fit?

You could be finishing university.

You could have one or two years of experience.

You might come from customer service, sales support, hospitality, administration, consulting, technology, automotive or something completely different.

Your current job title is not the important part.

Maybe people already rely on you because:

  • You remember what everyone else forgets.
  • You are unusually good at dealing with people.
  • You learn new systems quickly.
  • You don’t get nervous when speaking to senior people.
  • You naturally take responsibility.
  • You hate leaving things unfinished.
  • You can be friendly without being a pushover.
  • You are curious about how businesses actually work.
  • You would rather figure something out than hear that “it can’t be done.”

If that sounds like you, your background may be much less important than your potential.

What we need from you

Two things are non-negotiable:

English is mandatory.

You will communicate regularly with international customers, partners and colleagues, so you need to be confident communicating in English, both written and spoken.

Driving license and access to a car are mandatory.

Our operations are based in the Brianza area, and the role may require local travel between your home and company location.

What happens if you’re good?

Your role grows.

You will gain exposure to customers, commercial negotiations, contracts, finance, engineering, operations and the decisions that shape the business.

You will start by making sure the commercial machine runs smoothly.

Over time, you can become one of the people who understands how that machine actually works.

Your responsibility will grow with your capability, not simply with your seniority.

Why Oversonic?

Because this is a startup.

Things move quickly.

Priorities change.

You will sometimes have to work without a perfect process.

You will see decisions being made and problems being solved in real time.

You will work close to leadership and have a much broader view of the business than you would typically get in a large organization.

And when you do something well, people notice.

That is the advantage of a startup.

You don’t have to wait five years to matter.

One final test

If you are thinking:

“I don’t have all the experience yet, but I know I can become very good at this.”

That’s exactly the mindset we are looking for.

We are not hiring the finished product.

We are looking for someone sharp, fearless, curious and hungry to grow.

Someone who naturally thinks:

“Leave it with me.”

If that’s you, we should talk.
