Overview
In this role you shape electronic system designs for space-grade equipment, aligning unit/subsystem architecture with ECSS and customer needs. You’ll coordinate internal and external resources to deliver on time and within scope, supporting the Program Manager across projects. Expect to work on hardware and software interfaces, verification plans, and test execution to justify performance. The position offers hands-on design and documentation work in a cross-functional, technically rigorous environment.
Responsabilità
- Prepare technical proposals and review customer requirements
- Engineer requirements at unit and board level, and define architecture
- Define electrical interfaces and verification methods
- Coordinate internal and external resources for project execution
- Support program management to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
- Produce HW documentation for FPGA and SW design
- Participate in customer reviews and test planning
- Test unit/subsystem and prepare test reports
- Discuss NCRs and requirement changes
- Prepare detailed design reviews and documentation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics
- Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and CAD tools
- Electronic system design experience on processor-based units (digital and analogue)
- SPARC processor architecture knowledge
- AIV experience
- Knowledge of IBM Doors
- Fluent English (speaking and writing)
