Quality Manager

Overview

In this role you lead quality across the Footwear & Equipment division, guiding a multicultural team to secure product quality from development to market feedback. You’ll align R&D, Operations, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to uphold high standards throughout the lifecycle. You’ll plan and supervise testing, quality control, and corrective actions, driving data-based improvements and supplier performance. This is a hands-on leadership position in a dynamic, international setting with a clear quality-centric mission.

Responsabilità

• Lead and coordinate a multinational Quality team (10 people) across Europe and Asia
• Oversee QA and QC activities to maintain product quality through the lifecycle
• Define and monitor Quality KPIs and use data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and testing protocols
• Coordinate laboratory and field testing, test planning, and field tester network
• Collaborate with R&D and Operations during development and industrialization to ensure quality requirements
• Conduct Quality Approval Meetings and approve counter samples before release
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia for effective quality control
• Manage non-conformities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and supplier issues
• Analyze defect data and quality metrics to improve product quality, efficiency, and supplier performance
• Support CSR audits and chemical compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintain communication with Customer Service to address feedback and complaints
• Develop and manage the Quality budget for the division

Requisiti fondamentali

• Technical background in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven Quality Management experience, preferably in footwear
• Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing, QC, testing, and supplier quality
• Experience leading international, multicultural teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven approach to quality
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluent in English and Italian; willing to travel internationally
