Overview
As a Network Engineer in NTT DATA’s Managed Services, you will support a major international automotive client by ensuring continuous network operations and meeting SLAs. You’ll work with the global team to deliver on-site service at the Italian site and provide on-call support for critical incidents. Your role includes configuring devices, troubleshooting, changes, and reporting to keep the service running smoothly. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that values collaboration and operational excellence. You’ll contribute to high customer satisfaction through reliable delivery and timely problem resolution.
Responsabilità
- Daily on-site service delivery
- Execute standard changes (AP, switch, etc.) and handover to Operations
- Local troubleshooting and configuration
- Break & fix support and major change support
- Local spare parts management
- Performance testing and tuning support
- Equipment configuration cleaning and hardening support
- Backup/DR testing support
- Reporting and escalation to Central NOC
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team working and collaborative approach
- Eager to learn
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
- Ability to follow scripts and documented procedures
- Confidence in troubleshooting hardware/software
- 6-12 months experience in service delivery
- Fluent in Italian
- Able to work in an international environment using English, spoken and written
