Overview

In this role you lead the Product Compliance test laboratory in Italy, ensuring ICT hardware meets regulatory and standards requirements. You will manage lab operations and work with standardization bodies to develop and apply compliance standards. You’ll drive quality systems, safety and environmental testing, and coordinate with R&D, PLM, and ESG teams. This role offers impact on product compliance strategy, sustainability alignment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilità

  • Lead and manage the Product Compliance test laboratory operations
  • Define and maintain test plans, reference standards, and compliance classifications
  • Develop and implement ISO/IEC 17025 compliant quality systems and ISO 9000/TL9000 documentation
  • Coordinate product compliance testing with stakeholders (R&D, PLM, ESG) and ensure timely test completion
  • Lead standardization activities with ETSI, IEC, ITU-T, CENELEC and disseminate applied standards
  • Provide technical support on compliance requirements to R&D and sustainability teams
  • Manage a team of technicians, including setting test setups, test plans, and improvement actions
  • Troubleshoot test equipment, safety, and workflow issues to maintain performance
  • Define and manage laboratory budgets, policies, and capital expenditures
  • Champion health and safety policies in the laboratory environment

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Master's degree in a scientific discipline
  • Proven experience with test laboratory management
  • Good knowledge of IEC/ISO 17025 and TL9000 quality systems
  • Strong background in ICT testing (EMC, safety, environmental tests)
  • Knowledge of electronics circuit design for compliance improvements
  • Experience with ICT standards and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in ICT standardization organizations (ETSI, IEC, ITU-T, CENELEC)
  • Sustainability knowledge related to ICT
