Overview
In this role you will contribute to Nokia’s X-Haul microwave transport solutions within the MW&CSN Business Unit, translating high-level requirements into robust hardware designs. You will join a global, multicultural team and stay at the cutting edge of theory and development methods. You’ll own complex legacy designs, implement new features, and propose optimizations to advance connectivity. This position offers meaningful impact through shaping microwave hardware in a world-class telecom environment.

Responsabilità
- Requirement analysis and feasibility studies for HW solutions
- HW architecture definition and technology/component selection
- HW development and detailed design in the microwave domain
- HW unit test, qualification, and reporting
- HW project status reporting and tracking
- HW Configuration management
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics or related field
- Deep theoretical knowledge in electronic/mechanical domains
- Strong math and physics background
- Knowledge of waveguide microwave circuit theory, filters and circulators
- Knowledge of analog circuit design (linear/non-linear)
- Knowledge of microwave planar circuit theory
- Knowledge of microwave system theory and basic blocks (LNA, PA, synthesizer, mixer)
- Knowledge of modulation/demodulation theory and QAM signals
- Fluent in English
- Good teamwork, adaptability, accountability, cross-cultural collaboration
