Overview
CURRICULAR INTERNSHIP | FULL-TIME | 6 MONTHS
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Knitwear & Jersey Purchasing Intern to join our Purchasing department at our Global HQ in Milan.
Your Impact
In this role, you will support the team in the following tasks:
- Managing data entry in PLM and Stealth systems, including material and color master data creation and maintenance, as well as stock availability checks
- Supporting the purchasing process by issuing and monitoring purchase orders to yarn mills and the weaving department (samples, prototypes, collections, and press garments), ensuring timely order confirmations and on-time delivery
- Coordinating color development activities by sending color references to suppliers and following up on lab dip submissions in line with agreed deadlines
- Maintaining and updating the yarn archive book with new color developments
Qualification
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent command of English
- Familiarity with PLM and Stealth systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication skills
