Overview
As a Data Center Project Manager at Microsoft, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver projects inside live datacenters, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and alignment with standards. You will bridge operations, engineering, IT/network, and vendors to translate objectives into executable plans. You support CO+I’s mission to power Microsoft’s cloud services by delivering core infrastructure and foundational tech. Responsabilità
- Own end-to-end project execution for datacenter initiatives from intake through close-out
- Build and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple parallel workstreams
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and change-management standards in live datacenters
- Coordinate between Datacenter Operations, Engineering, Construction, IT/Network teams, vendors and contractors
- Identify risks and develop mitigation/contingency plans with relevant teams
- Troubleshoot service incidents and escalate to meet SLAs/OLAs with minimal disruption
- Monitor costs and resource utilization to stay within budgets and timelines
Requisiti fondamentali
- High School Qualification or equivalent, AND experience supporting IT equipment or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments OR equivalent experience
- Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field AND experience in physical IT infrastructures OR equivalent experience
- Applicable certifications: APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CDCP, CCNA Certifications, ITIL, MOF certifications
- Background check requirements including Microsoft Cloud Background Check
