Overview
In this role you ensure on-site construction aligns with project plans while guiding subcontractors and internal teams. You will act as a technical resource, solving complex problems and applying discipline knowledge to improve delivery. You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Subcontracting, Procurement and Project Controls to keep work on schedule and within guidelines. This position supports project success by coordinating information flow, managing RFIs, and validating build quality. You’ll contribute to the energy transition by delivering safe, efficient subsea and onshore projects.
Responsabilità
- Lead site construction activities per plans, specs, and schedules.
- Support Construction Director and Area managers for on-site setup and completion.
- Coordinate with Home Office Engineering, Subcontracting, Procurement, and Project Controls to plan and enable site subcontractor works.
- Coordinate with Completions Manager and QA/QC Lead for final inspections and as-built documentation.
- Develop/design through on-site engineering activities and respond to RFIs/Field Work Orders.
- Support setup and administration of the AWP system for on-site activities.
- Issue and monitor project deliverables to Subcontractors and manage RFIs for document control.
- Perform constructability reviews with home office engineering and coordinate with Subcontractors for input.
- Manage Engineering support via Project Manager at the home office.
- Close out RFIs and incorporate into turnover systems for client care and custody.
- Analyze progress and schedule performance; lead weekly planning meetings with PMT and Subcontractors.
- Assist Subcontractors to generate weekly IWPs and manage material requests and deliveries.
- Record and communicate lessons learned.
Requisiti fondamentali
- Five years of construction experience.
- Knowledge of MDR construction procedures, progress systems, material management, document management, and timekeeping systems.
- MS Office skills, esp. Excel and Access.
- Strong attention to detail, deadline management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- High integrity, work ethic, and professionalism; energetic with a positive, can-do attitude.
