MCA is looking for a Product Designer to join the design team at Milan office, to develop product design projects throughout the various stages of the design process - from concept to product development, from 3D modeling to the creation of photorealistic images and renders.
This opportunity is also open to recent graduates with a strong design sensibility, an interest in design, and a good level of independence in using modeling and rendering tools.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in design, preferably with a focus on Product Design, or equivalent training .
Recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience will also be considered.
- Portfolio of product design projects.
- Valid VAT number.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Rhino modeling software.
- Excellent knowledge of V-Ray for creating renderings and photorealistic images.
- Knowledge of the Adobe suite.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Interest in and sensitivity toward product design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to develop a project from the concept phase through to final product definition.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools applied to the creative and design process will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work in a team, collaborating with the studio’s various professionals and being willing to support the team when necessary.
- Attitude for research, experimentation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize work in accordance with project timelines and objectives.

The studio based in Bologna and Milan, is composed of an international team of more than one hundred architects, engineers, graphic designers, model makers and researchers.
Founded in 1992 in Paris and then in 1999 in Bologna, the studio has a solid experience in design architecture that integrates environmental and energy strategies making use of an internal R&D department which carries out research on sustainability issues following a holistic approach.
All projects are united by a common focus on technological integration with environmental and climate strategies to create buildings that can reduce their environmental impact in view of the UN 2030 and European 2050 objectives.
Therefore, the practice of the office aims to contribute to climate change mitigation and at the same time to a positive social evolution through increased public participation and sharing in urban transformation processes.
