Overview
As Electricity & Automation Manager you will support MES, electrical and automation activities and CAPEX projects to improve plant performance while upholding safety and quality. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet standards, are delivered on time, and documented properly. Your role drives continuous improvement in process safety, efficiency, and compliance within a manufacturing setting. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to shape automation strategies in a regulated food production environment.
Responsabilità
- Participate in CAPEX projects ensuring solution quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
- Prepare user and technical specifications and coordinate requirements from production, quality, and other users
- Follow up solution development, conduct pre-tests, implement, and train operators and maintenance crews
- Master MES and Electrical & Automation technical details across projects
- Ensure process & equipment safety for people, products, and environment; promote a no-compromise safety culture
- Implement engineering tools at site level and in factory activities
- Ensure installations comply with safety, health, environment, product safety and product quality standards
- Maintain up-to-date key documentation (SLD, URS, FDS, calibration procedures) and apply MES-E&A legislation
- Contribute to factory continuous improvement by mastering process/product characteristics to enhance quality, safety and efficiency
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 3 years Automation and/or MES engineering with electrical experience
- Supervision experience of technical teams, contractors or third parties
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects across Electrical and Automation
- Start-up experience of technical equipment or production lines
- Self-management with defined KPIs/objectives and proactive tracking
- Preventive maintenance planning or execution
- University Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Fluency in Italian and English
