Integrated into the Ready-to-Wear Industrial Teams, you will use your auditing skills and industrial knowledge to verify compliance with Louis Vuitton’s conformity requirements by our manufacturers and suppliers.
Job responsibilities
Your missions will revolve around 3 areas:
1. Field Visites & Evaluations:
- Evaluate manufacturer and supplier workshops according to an industrial framework focusing on aspects such as capacity, capability, traceability and management systems.
- Develop and propose relevant action plans adapted to the operational realities of each workshop.
- Lead and monitor the deployment of corrective action plans (CAP).
- Evaluate the alignment between operational resources (Personnel, Machines, Know-how) and the workload related to our order book.
- Monitor production in progress and product traceability at all stages of the chain.
- Verify the alignment between physical flow and IT flow.
2. Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Support partner suppliers and factories in a continuous improvement approach:
- In-depth analysis of the root causes of non-conformities.
- On-site support to elevate the overall performance level.
- Identification and sharing of best practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of internal standards.
- Raise awareness and train partners/suppliers on the Maison’s requirements.
3. Performance & Reporting
- Ensure weekly monitoring of the visit schedule and report the results of your visits to your management.
- Monitor the closure rate of corrective action plans (CAP).
- Analyze recurring non-conformities and technical/organizational roadblocks, and formulate proposals for structural improvements.
Profile
- +3 years of auditing experience in a demanding industrial environment.
- Proficiency in international social audit standards: SA 8000, BSCI, ICS, ISO 45001.
- Solid industrial culture and mastery of continuous improvement processes (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Good command of Office software, particularly Excel.
- Analytical skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to quickly understand complex and/or highly artisanal manufacturing processes.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Frequent travel expected (approximately 80% of working time).
Additional information
For this position employment is expected at Level 4S of the CCNL Pelli e Cuoio.
The gross annual salary will be defined based on internal salary standards, the candidate’s skills, and the requirements of the role.
