Overview
In this role you will lead a landmark stadium project in Rome, driving overall delivery from design to handover. You’ll work within a global advisory group renowned for big-scale sports and public venues, guiding multidisciplinary teams to meet quality, schedule, and stakeholder expectations. You will engage with the client and authorities, shaping delivery through governance and risk-aware planning. The position offers the chance to make a high-impact contribution to a flagship venue in a dynamic, international context.
Responsabilità
- Lead day-to-day delivery of the stadium project with strategic direction and governance across design, construction and handover
- Direct and mentor the project delivery team (Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, support staff)
- Act as senior interface with client, authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders to manage expectations and decisions
- Oversee programme, cost, risk controls and reporting to identify and mitigate risks and align with objectives
- Ensure delivery adheres to contractual obligations, Italian regulations, and international best practices for major sports venues, promoting excellence and safety throughout the lifecycle
Requisiti fondamentali
- Fluency in English and Italian
- 10+ years of experience in senior delivery roles for high-value sports/entertainment venues
- Based within commutable distance to Rome
- Relevant degree-level qualifications
- Leadership and people management
- Stakeholder management and relationship building
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project controls (programme, cost, risk reporting)
- Budget and schedule management
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (Italian regulations)
