Overview
In this role you will lead the pre-construction phase for data centre projects in Rome, shaping design development, permitting, and procurement strategies. You will coordinate with clients, design teams and internal stakeholders to align design with budget and programme. You will identify and mitigate design, commercial, and logistical risks before construction starts, and work with estimators on cost planning and value engineering. You will create robust handover packages to set the delivery team up for success. Responsabilità
- Own the Preconstruction Programme and coordinate preconstruction activities (design development, permitting, early contractor involvement, procurement strategies) for complex data centre projects
- Interface with Clients & Design Teams to align design intent with budget and programme
- Lead identification and resolution of design, commercial, and logistical risks during preconstruction
- Collaborate on detailed cost plans and value engineering with estimating and commercial teams
- Prepare comprehensive handover packages for the construction phase to ensure a smooth start
Requisiti fondamentali
- Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
- Must have 4-10 years’ preconstruction experience on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
- Must be able and willing to travel to and from site when required
