Overview
In this role you will lead on-site health, safety and environmental management for a major data centre project in Milan, ensuring compliance with Italian law, EU directives and company standards. You will champion a proactive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors while coordinating with management and clients. You will drive risk assessment, incident investigation and continuous improvement to reduce incidents and improve EHS performance. This opportunity offers a hands-on leadership role in a specialized engineering-focused company with European projects. You will help shape safe, compliant delivery and robust EHS practices on a large-scale construction site.

Responsabilità
- Site Safety Leadership: develop and oversee the site-specific EHS plan, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, EU directives, and company standards
- Risk Management & Compliance: lead risk assessments, method statement reviews, and safety audits; implement corrective actions
- Training & Awareness: deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training
- Incident Investigation & Reporting: manage reporting and investigation of accidents, near misses, and environmental events; identify root causes and verify corrective actions
- Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement: collaborate with management, clients, and regulators; drive EHS best-practice development
Requisiti fondamentali
- NEBOSH
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
- EU Passport or RTW in Italy
