Overview
As an EHS Advisor on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Milan, you will support the Project Safety Lead and site management to uphold top-tier environmental, health, and safety standards. You will contribute to safety delivery, audits, and incident investigations while promoting a strong safety culture across subcontractors and site teams. The role offers long-term progression and an overseas package for continuous impact on high-value construction programmes. You work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices. This opportunity combines hands-on field work with strategic safety leadership on a premier European build.

Responsabilità
- Support the Project Management team and Site EHS Lead in daily safety delivery
- Ensure compliance with project Safety Management Systems and statutory legislation
- Review and monitor RAMS, Permit to Work, and Safe Plans of Action
- Maintain high safety culture across subcontractors and site teams
- Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-ups
- Manage COSHH / hazardous substance control and reporting
- Maintain statutory inspection registers for tools, plant, and site equipment
- Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and reporting
- Attend daily activity briefings and planning meetings
- Support environmental initiatives including waste reduction and recycling compliance
- Promote proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement on site
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Environmental Health & Safety
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience on large-scale construction projects
- Data centre or mission-critical experience highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of current EHS legislation and best practice
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Process-driven mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
