Overview
In this role you will lead the industrialization of new semiconductor packages in high-volume backend manufacturing. You will drive process development, qualification, and a smooth transition from development to production while meeting business targets. You will work with R&D, Product Quality, and suppliers to establish robust, scalable processes. This position offers impactful work in a modern, multicultural, tech-focused environment and a clear path to shape manufacturing at scale. A relocation package supports candidates moving to Malta.

Responsabilità
- Design, develop, qualify, and industrialize new assembly processes for semiconductor packaging across markets (Industrial, Automotive, Space)
- Lead transition of new process designs from prototype to high-volume production
- Apply DOE, advanced statistical methods, and AI/ML to establish robust processes
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Quality, Product Engineering, and suppliers
- Mentor technicians and junior engineers during ramp-up
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science-related field
- Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of semiconductor backend manufacturing technology and experience in an advanced tech facility (assets)
- Strong knowledge of DOE, FMEA, and hands-on problem solving
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results
