Overview
In this role you will design, optimize, secure, and sustain large-scale enterprise networks for critical DoD communications in support of ONI operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, and NMS in mission-critical environments. You will implement secure routing, cryptographic devices, and remediation actions to uphold information assurance. This is a hands-on position with onsite and remote support, offering exposure to international deployments and advanced security practices.
Responsabilità
- Oversee LAN, WAN, firewall, and NMS activities per Government guidance
- Manage advanced Cisco routing and switching for 700+ devices
- Configure cryptographic devices and OSPF routing
- Review IAVA/IAVB advisories and implement remediation
- Support local network infrastructure and telecom circuits from T1 to OC-192
- Develop SOPs to enhance security posture
- Provide onsite engineering support for mission environments
- Support remote HGCC divisions with technical assistance
- Travel to multiple international locations as required
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Engineering or technical field with 4+ years experience, or Master with 2+ years
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Active CompTIA Security+
- Active CCNP certification
- Experience supporting DoD communication systems and networks
- OSI knowledge L1–L4
- Cisco enterprise networking expertise
- Experience with cryptographic devices, Palo Alto and Azure Firewalls
- Experience with SolarWinds, Cisco ISE with TACACS+, and GEMOne
- Cisco routing and switching (enterprise networks)
- OSPF and advanced routing protocols
- Cryptographic devices and security infrastructure
- Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Firewalls
- SolarWinds
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) with TACACS+
