Overview
In this role you lead the import operations within the Freight Forwarding team, driving service levels, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You coordinate cross-functional partners to ensure timely shipments and secure capacity, while building strategic relationships with carriers and providers. You focus on process improvements, compliance, and cost optimization to support scalable logistics solutions. Responsabilità
- Oversee daily import operations to meet service targets
- Manage team performance, workforce planning, resource allocation, and KPIs
- Serve as escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure accurate shipment execution
- Build and maintain relationships with airlines, carriers, gateways, and providers
- Drive efficiency and cost optimization via process improvements, automation, consolidation, route planning
- Ensure compliance with policies, trade regulations, customs, quality, health, safety, security, and environmental guidelines
- Partner with senior management to develop strategies and address risks and deviations
Requisiti fondamentali
- 1–3 years of experience in air logistics
- Strong leadership and communication with adaptability and performance-driven mindset
- Solid knowledge of freight forwarding, air logistics operations and import regulations
- Fluency in English and Italian
