Overview
In this role you will support fixed asset advisory engagements by understanding client needs, gathering data at client sites, and delivering valuation analyses. You will work with cross-functional teams to prepare materials, discuss asset accounting treatments, and present findings to clients and auditors. The work combines technical assessment with client-facing communication and travel to client facilities. You will contribute to accurate, objective asset valuations and build lasting client relationships.
Responsabilità
- Initiate discussions with clients to capture requirements
- Liaise with clients on fixed asset accounting treatment
- Prepare pitch decks and navigate internal approvals
- Visit client facilities and conduct interviews to collect data
- Develop analyses to estimate asset values for various purposes
- Perform asset valuation using direct, standard and normal costing techniques
- Deliver accurate, unbiased valuation conclusions
- Address client/auditor queries regarding valuations
- Report and present analyses and conclusions in written form
- Collaborate with management to build and maintain client relationships
- Contribute as an individual contributor or within project teams
- Travel to client sites as required
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred)
- Basic building construction or plants and machinery knowledge
- Proficient MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint abilities
- Knowledge or interest in Python, Matlab, R or other relevant programming language preferred
- Excellent analytical, organization and project management skills
- Ability and willingness to handle additional hours and travel as needed to comply with client requests
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (Dutch also preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
