Overview
You will design scalable, secure Azure-based cloud architectures and lead end-to-end technical spec definition. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals, modernize and migrate workloads, and establish DevOps and governance practices. This role combines hands-on architecture with stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-impact IT outcomes for KPMG’s internal clients. You’ll operate in a dynamic, global environment with a strong emphasis on Well-Architected and FinOps principles.

Responsabilità
- Design scalable, secure cloud-native architectures on Azure aligned with best practices and client requirements
- Create end-to-end architectures (HLD/LLD) and specify technical/functional requirements and non-functional requirements
- Lead Azure landing zones, secure networking, identity and on-prem/hybrid integration
- Evaluate cloud technologies via trade-off analyses, cost assessments, and risk evaluations
- Establish and promote DevOps practices: IaC (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD, policy-as-code, logging and observability
- Conduct PoCs and architectural assessments; drive ADRs and define migration/ modernization roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Data, Dev, Operations) and communicate to technical/business stakeholders
- Document and present solutions (C4 diagrams, runbooks) and support post-go-live operations
- Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework and CAF, FinOps, and standardized blueprints
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years IT experience; 2–3 years in Azure-based solution architecture
- Excellent English proficiency
- Certifications: AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-400 or FinOps Practitioner (preferred)
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Problem solving and analytical thinking
- Azure architectures: AKS, Container Apps, App Service, Logic Apps, Functions; Storage; Azure SQL, Cosmos DB; Networking (VNet, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, VPN); Security (Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, WAF)
- DevOps: Git, CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform or Bicep), Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), policy as code, secrets management
- Observability and reliability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry; resilience design, backup/DR, RTO/RPO
