Overview
In this role you will own and evolve core parts of Klarna’s client platform with a strong React Native focus. You will drive cross-cutting improvements that boost developer experience, stability, and long-term maintainability. You’ll lead large initiatives spanning JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend tooling, native iOS/Android integrations, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll balance immediate delivery with a sustainable platform strategy and mentor others to raise the technical bar. This is a platform-centric role that lets you shape how the Klarna app scales and integrates across the ecosystem.
Responsabilità
- Own and evolve core parts of the Klarna client platform with React Native focus
- Solve cross-cutting technical problems affecting stability, scalability, and maintainability
- Lead initiatives across JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend tooling, native iOS/Android integrations, and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor engineers, perform code and architectural reviews, and promote high-quality platform standards
- Align solutions with long-term platform strategy and evolution of the Klarna app
Requisiti fondamentali
- React Native and frontend platform expert
- Strong knowledge of React Native internals and iOS/Android integration
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript; understanding runtime behavior and architecture patterns
- Experience with frontend build systems/tooling (bundlers, Babel, Metro, Webpack)
- Comfort debugging runtime and build-time JS-to-native issues
- Proven track record evolving React Native at scale, upgrades, and tooling improvements
- Solid AWS fundamentals (compute, IAM, networking, monitoring, basic DB)
- Familiar with CI/CD and modern delivery practices
- Knowledgeable in security and privacy fundamentals
- Experience with Node.js, Express, and database fundamentals
- Able to own ambiguous, high-impact problems and drive to resolution
- Platform thinking mindset; delivery-focused with long-term quality and architectural integrity
