Your role at KIKO MILANO
We are looking for an Artworker to join KIKO MILANO’s Packaging Team, reporting to the Packaging Design Senior Manager.
The role will support the development, adaptation and finalization of primary and secondary packaging artworks, translating approved creative layouts into accurate, production-ready files while ensuring alignment with KIKO MILANO’s visual identity, technical specifications and global brand guidelines.
The candidate will work closely with Packaging Design, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and external suppliers, supporting artwork execution across product categories and markets with strong attention to detail, consistency and deadlines.
In particular, you will:
• Create, adapt and finalize artworks for primary and secondary packaging across makeup, skincare and accessories.
• Translate approved creative layouts into accurate, production-ready packaging files.
• Prepare and check print-ready files, ensuring compliance with dielines, technical specifications, printing requirements and brand guidelines.
• Manage artwork updates, corrections, versioning and multilingual adaptations, ensuring that the latest approved content is used.
• Insert and verify product information, legal copy, claims, symbols, codes and regulatory content provided by the relevant teams.
• Collaborate with Packaging Designers, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and suppliers throughout the artwork development and approval process.
• Support the review of colour proofs, technical proofs and production samples, highlighting inconsistencies or execution issues.
• Maintain an accurate and organized archive of packaging artworks, ensuring traceability and version control.
• Manage assigned activities according to project timelines and support the timely delivery of product launches.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of packaging artwork processes and working methods.
What you will need to succeed
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Visual Communication or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in artwork development, graphic production or packaging artwork, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, FMCG or consumer goods.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional.
• Experience in preparing executive and print-ready files and in working with dielines and technical layouts.
• Knowledge of the main printing processes, pre-flight checks and colour management.
• Experience with packaging artwork, versioning and multilingual adaptations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling text, codes, symbols and graphic elements.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
