WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate, bright, and talented

Spa Therapist to join our team in one of the most beautiful Spa on the Venetian lagoon!

• CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• The

Spa Therapist provides the highest personalized services

• Assesses guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e. g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service.
• Keeps up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work.

Arrange workstation and treatment room.

Frequently checks with guests to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service.

Promotes and sells Spa including retail offerings related to the Spa.

• Maintains cleanliness of workstations and/or treatment rooms throughout the shift, disposes of dirty linens, and secures supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.

Monitors and sticks to schedule throughout the day.

• Handles guests’ needs by following Marriott International’s standard operating procedures for guests and therapists.

Maintains current skills and licensure in service area as per regional requirements.

• Strives to improve service performance.
• Recommend Spa products and up-sell services.
• Complete expertise in the services and products offered.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

• Possess a good command of English.
• An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills.
• Good knowledge or experience in the Spa industry.
• Good organizational skills with attention to details.
• A team Player with a flexible and positive attitude.
• Hardworking and consistent.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in Spa therapist roles within hotels.
• Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling.
• Passion for the hospitality industry.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
