Overview

In this role you will sustain and advance chemometric models for spectroscopic PAT in GMP environments, enabling real-time product and process understanding. You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and IT to ensure robust model deployment and lifecycle management. You’ll translate complex model behavior into clear decisions and documentation, shaping regulated manufacturing decisions. This position offers hands-on spectroscopy work with impact on process performance, quality, and compliance. Join a cross-functional team focused on scalable, model-driven manufacturing excellence.

Responsabilità

  • Validate, deploy and provide GMP lifecycle support for chemometric models
  • Assess model performance using statistics and monitor drift, bias, and residuals
  • Contribute to validation protocols, transfer packages, and lifecycle documentation
  • Troubleshoot models and spectral quality issues; investigate unexpected predictions
  • Support deployment in operational workflows with cross-functional partners
  • Ensure documentation and traceability aligned with regulatory expectations
  • Develop best practices for spectroscopic model development and lifecycle management

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Bachelor)
  • Deep expertise in spectroscopy (e.g., NIR, Raman, MIR, UV-Vis)
  • Experience building or applying models to analytical or manufacturing data
  • Statistical fluency and understanding of model performance metrics
  • Programming experience (Python, MATLAB, R) or willingness to learn Python for chemometrics
  • Strong communication and ability to work across scientific, technical, quality and manufacturing teams
  • Ability to document work clearly in regulated environments
